Backing for national dementia campaign

A national campaign to highlight the problems of dementia is being backed by North Wales AM, Antoinette Sandbach.Ms Sandbach hosted a special meeting of the Dementia Friends programme, at her regional office in Denbigh and local councillors from Denbighshire and Conwy also attended.

Save money on energy bills

 Residents are being urged to take advantage of free help and support that could save them £140 on their energy bills.The Warm Home Discount Scheme is a five-year scheme introduced by UK Government and delivered by the larger energy suppliers to help those in need by paying a credit into the energy account.

AM supports epetition

 A major campaign to stop the non-stun slaughter of animals is being supported by North Wales AM, Antoinette Sandbach.She is backing an epetition launched by the British Veterinary Association which is calling for an end to this practice to improve animal welfare at the time of death. 

Postal collection changes in Brymbo offered by Royal Mail after concerns raised by Antoinette Sandbach AM and local councillors

Royal Mail has offered to extend weekend postal collection times in Brymbo, Wrexham, after concerns were raised by North Wales AM Antoinette Sandbach. But the company is still refusing to re-site the village’s post box so it is outside the new Post Office in the Enterprise Centre, despite requests from local residents, councillors and Ms Sandbach.
