I would like to encourage all residents to support your local high street and buy local if possible.
Cheshire has a wealth of local producers with exceptional quality products. There are several villages across Eddisbury which have thriving high streets who support businesses and provide good links for local producers. From “Oxtail and Trotter” in Audlem to The Hollies just outside Tarporley, there is the opportunity for smaller businesses to succeed.
In March 2016, I invited several local producers from across Cheshire and worked with colleagues to host Cheshire Food Day in Parliament. The event was a huge success providing local producers the opportunity to showcase their products to Members across the UK and show the standard of produce Cheshire has to offer.
I am a passionate about promoting and supporting our local Cheshire businesses and by supporting them you can ensure that the money you spend goes back into the local community.
